Getting ready for Christmas

Fun at Amelia Island!

This was such a fun shoot at Amelia Island of some friends from Columbus and also from North Carolina! It poured right before the shoot and then cleared up into a beautiful afternoon!
Such beautiful children!! There were so many good ones I wish that I could put them all on the blog! We are making a coffee table book from all the images and I cannot wait to get started on it! What a great gift the mothers are giving their parents!

Baby Ben! Born on August 11, 2009

On Tuesday, August 11, Eliza, Jeremy and Walker welcomed Benjamin Hurt Brewer to their family! How fortunate they are that little Ben was a healthy baby and that Eliza had an amazing pregnancy doing pilates the entire time!!!! I love being at births of good friends - it's amazing to see family coming together and watching the joy on everyone's faces as they take their first peeks of new life! This baby is named for an amazing man - his great grandfather who happens to be my grandmother in law's brother. What an amazing family they have keeping so close and connected through all these years. It's an honor and so much fun to be a part of this family! We welcome you with lots of love, Baby Ben!!!!!

Day 2!

Summer Babies and Families!

I have been so busy this past month! It has taken me a month to post again! But now I am here about to post a huge amount of images! I hope everyone enjoys browsing through and looking at the amazing children and families that I have been able to photograph this summer! I want to give a big thanks to my wonderful, patient and loving husband for all his help with our two little ones during my evening sessions - the same goes for my wonderful and ever helpful mother who is always there to help me!!!
